Whitbread owned Premier Inn is opening its doors to students looking for a place to revise
This Easter, students struggling to find space to study can make use of a variety of Premier Inn’s 800 locations
For many, Easter is a time to rest and spend time with friends and family over the only four-day bank holiday weekend of the year. For students across the UK however, the late Easter holidays this year signal a period of intense revision for their impending final exams. With noisier homes coupled with ongoing library closures, room to study can often therefore be hard to find.
This Easter, Premier Inn, the UK’s top-rated hotel chain*, is offering students the opportunity to escape the library or crowded home and get their head down at a variety of its 800 locations. All the way from Southampton to Scotland, there is now a study haven for those in need of space.
For these students struggling, Premier Inn is opening the doors of a number of its in-house restaurants, giving a place for them to revise, alongside a free hot drink to keep them fuelled. So, whether students are revising for their GCSEs or A Levels and Highers, there is a suitable revision space and relaxing hot drink waiting.
Premier Inn is offering the Revise and Refuel service as part of its ongoing commitment to helping young people secure a ‘proper job’ following their studies and the hotel company, along with its restaurants business, is looking to recruit approximately 20,000 new employees over the next 12 months.
The ethos behind the #properjob campaign is that when a young person gets themselves a ‘proper job’ – one offering the opportunity for ongoing educational development and career progression, their outlook on life starts to change for the better.
A Premier Inn spokesperson said: “As Easter is that little bit later this year, the holidays end just four weeks from the start of school exams. Premier Inn wants to help students with those last few weeks of study which we know is so important, by offering a space to refuel and revise. With 800 locations the length and breadth of the country, Premier Inn is perfectly located to help students across the UK.”
To take advantage of Premier Inn’s Revise and Refuel offer – and secure yourself a quiet space to study and a free hot drink** – email StudyPremierInn@golin.com between 12th and 19th April. Include detail of when and where you would like to study and Premier Inn will arrange this for you.
