New Premier Inn Brings £11.5 Million Investment to Isle of Wight Sandown
Premier Inn opened its brand new Isle of Wight Sandown (Merrie Gardens) Hotel on 16th January 2016. This new property will contribute over £11.5 million to the local economy whilst generating 29 new year round jobs for the residents of Sandown and the surrounding area.
The brand new 80 bedroom hotel will be located in the heart of the town, within walking distance from all the local amenities and attractions. As well as being known for its golden sandy beach, Sandown is a traditional British Seafront town with a pier. The main town beach stretches all the way along the Esplanade where it meets with Yaverland Beach, regarded as one of the Isle of Wight’s best beaches and is very popular for watersports. If travelling with kids, a visit to the interactive Dinosaur Museum as well as the Zoo housed in an old fort are must-see attractions.
